I am a Rehabilitation Physician, providing comprehensive rehabilitation medicine services in the Sydney metropolitan area.
I graduated from the University of Otago (N.Z.). I have had extensive experience in general medicine before completing my Fellowship in Rehabilitation Medicine with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).
I am also currently a staff specialist at Campbelltown Public and Camden Hospitals in the department of Ambulatory Care and a Conjoint Lecturer with the Western Sydney University School of Medicine.
I have had more than ten years’ experience in the private rehabilitation setting, working at both Metropolitan and Westmead Rehabilitation Hospitals during my training and I am currently consulting at: Hunters Hill Private Hospital; The Sydney Private Hospital; Holroyd Private Hospital and Campbelltown Private Hospital. I have been involved in the post-operative rehabilitation of patients of a number of leading Sydney surgeons. I have extensive experience with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, neurological rehabilitation and geriatric rehabilitation/ reconditioning as well as with pain management and amputee rehabilitation.
My special interest areas include musculoskeletal/ orthopaedic rehabilitation, lymphoedema and spasticity management. I have certification in the use of therapeutic botulinum toxin injection for musculoskeletal spasticity.
