With close to 150 staff employed in medical, nursing, allied health, administration and support roles, we are committed to meeting the diverse training needs of our workforce which is at the forefront of medical expertise and patient care.
Training and Development Programs
The Ramsay Training Institute (RTI) is committed to the development of the Ramsay Health Care workforce and connecting people with their own commitment to learning, motivation and purpose.
The RTI, through the process of creating an education and training culture, aims to increase the value of education and training across Ramsay Health Care and become a strategic business partner within the organisation.
Hospital Mandatory Training Programs
At the commencement of employment, all staff are required to attend a number of compulsory education programs such as; Fire & Emergency, Work Health & Safety and Workplace Diversity and a comprehensive orientation to the area or department in which they are employed.
Additionally annual refreshers of these training programs are required to ensure all staff maintain currency of knowledge in areas of safety and professional specialty.
External Education Attendance
We support applications for external course attendance. External education refers to training programs, seminars/workshops and conferences that attract a fee and are conducted by external organisations / associations or higher education at TAFE/University.
In addition to this, funding is available for all Service Areas to access, for the purpose of external education, Research programs and conference presentations that are supported by Hunters Hill Private Hospital, Centre for Surgical & Rehabilitation Specialities.
